Christine Sheehy is a freelance writer and author, whose work has featured in The Guardian (UK), The Listener, The New Zealand Herald, Canvas, New Zealand House & Garden, and The School Magazine (NSW). A former lawyer, Christine spent several years advising journalists at the BBC in London on the finer points of media law, before turning her pen to more creative pursuits. In 2012, she was shortlisted for the Storylines Joy Cowley Award.
