Jessica Irvine is one of Australia's leading economics journalists. She is currently National Economics Editor of News Limited's biggest selling Australian newspapers, including The Daily Telegraph, The Herald Sun, The Courier Mail and The Adelaide Advertiser. She was previously an opinion columnist and economics reporter for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age newspapers. She has an honours degree in Economics (Social Sciences) from Sydney University and is a regular commentator on television and radio. In 2010, she realised she was fat and began solving the problem the only way she knew how, with numbers. She lost 20 kilograms and has kept most of it off for three years. She lives in Sydney with her husband.
